No matter if we like it or not, people get old. When they do, they sometimes can no longer live on their own. That’s why planning ahead for senior living accommodations can ease the process.
Shalom Plotkin, owner of Right at Home, a home health care service provider in Beachwood, said families should begin to think about senior living accommodations way before they need it.
“It’s never too early to start planning and the planning is pretty important because our physical needs are changing quickly,” Plotkin said. “In terms of the silver tsunami, you can see assisted living facilities being built like mushrooms after a rainstorm. And that’s because frankly, none of us are getting younger, but we’re also living longer.
