On Saturday, a 101-year-old woman led her team in the Greater Baltimore Walk To End Alzheimer’s.
The group walked at Patterson Park in memory of Mindelle Wexler’s daughter, Michelle, who had Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s.
“I feel like we have to do something to get rid of the disease,” Wexler said. “That way people can get well again.”
