The time is finally here when we will hear the presumptive presidential nominee's plans on how they will lead the country in the next four years. Besides national security, jobs creation and immigration issues, I am interested in the action they plan to take to update Social Security and keep it strong for me, my kids and my grand kids.
Voters like me are looking for answers and anyone running for president should be able to tell us how they will take the lead on Social Security.
We are looking for specific plans, not soundbites or generalizations. We need to know how their plans will affect families and how much it will cost to implement those plans. If there is no action taken, we could see a future reduction of 25 percent in our hard-earned Social Security benefits. For me, that could equate to more than $10,000 a year!
